Art industrial in its aesthetic and sculptural in its presence, with references to Brutalist architecture, Studio ANANSI’s bar cart poetically marries the hard rawness of brushed stainless steel with a semi-translucent resin. Traditional wheels are replaced with a metal base, giving the cart structural permanency.

The Brut Bar Cart is part of Sight Unseen's first-ever furniture collection, creative directed by Sight Unseen founders Monica Khemsurov and Jill Singer and produced in collaboration with Bestcase, a Long Island furniture brand specializing in sheet metal. For the collection, Sight Unseen commissioned four international designers to create five works, all rendered in various types of metal. The full edition is meant for both the contract and residential markets.
